Eleven past and present employees of The Kelly Clarkson Show have alleged that the daytime television series fostered a toxic workplace. They described experiences of bullying, verbal abuse, and retaliation from high-level producers, with no support from human resources. Executive producer Alex Duda was labeled a "monster." While Kelly Clarkson herself was not implicated, the employees claimed she was unaware of the extent of their dissatisfaction. The show's success and ad revenue make their treatment even more unjust. Employees took their complaints to NBCUniversal in exit interviews, but little action was taken.
