Country star Chris Stapleton's planned duet with his wife Morgane at the Academy of Country Music Awards was scrapped due to Morgane's prior doula commitment. Instead, Miranda Lambert stepped in to sing the duet. Lambert performed three separate times during the awards show, including the duet with Stapleton. Stapleton is up for four ACM Awards and his hit track "Maggie's Song" appears on his new album. Brothers Osbourne were announced to close the show with a performance of "Dead Man's Curve," and Lambert is the most-nominated female performer in ACM history.
