Kelly Clarkson's lawsuit against her ex-father-in-law, Narvel Blackstock, is progressing, with new evidence being presented in court. Both sides presented evidence at an evidentiary hearing for the California Labor Commission. Clarkson was managed by Blackstock's company for over 13 years and started dating his son, Brandon Blackstock, in 2012. After Clarkson filed for divorce, Narvel's company sued her for millions of dollars in unpaid commissions. Clarkson fired back with a lawsuit claiming the company violated labor laws. Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock finalized their divorce in March 2022, with Clarkson awarded primary custody of their children. Clarkson recently announced the release of her 10th studio album titled "Chemistry." She also announced a 10-date residency at Planet Hollywood's Zappos Theater in support of the album.
