Dolly Parton celebrated her 50th year as a member of the Grand Ole Opry with a 30-minute segment of the live radio show. She performed five of her signature songs, including a tribute to mentor Porter Wagoner. However, she couldn't leave the stage without performing "9 to 5" and "I Will Always Love You". Parton reflected on her career and expressed her gratitude for still being able to perform. The shows were sold out and Parton entertained the crowd with her stories and humor. The event will be turned into a two-hour NBC special airing in November.
